NOIDA, INDIA -- Precision Electronics will shut down its printed circuit board manufacturing unit here due to age and technical limitations.

The PCB plant is more than 20 years old and productivity has been severely affected due to frequent breakdown, the company said. Moreover, the current plant is unable to produce PCBs to the technical specifications required by customers.

PEL was set up as a joint venture with Wagner Schaltungstechnik to manufacture PCBs.
