ANAHEIM, CA -- PCB fabricator M-Flex will take charges of more than $3 million over the next two quarters related to the relocation of its corporate headquarters and employee layoffs.
In an 8-K filing, the company said it would relocate its current headquarters in Anaheim to a smaller location in Orange County, CA. The printed circuit board maker plans to take a pretax non-cash asset impairment charge of approximately $1.5 million in the quarter ended Sept. 30 in conjunction with the sale of the existing property where its corporate headquarters is located.
In addition, M-Flex expects to take December quarter pretax non-cash asset impairment charges of approximately $700,000 related to two company-owned buildings in Arizona and Anaheim, and a pretax impairment and restructuring charge of approximately $1 million, about $800,000 in cash, relating to employee terminations at the company's Anaheim headquarters.
