ROMULUS, MI – Saturn Electronics today said revenue rose 55% year-over-year to $33 million in 2010.
The bare printed circuit board manufacturer cited a stable workforce, new material certifications, and ongoing capital equipment and facility investments for the growth.
The industry average increase in revenue was 19.3%, according to Saturn.
"2010 was a record year for Saturn,” said Yash Sutariya. "We made a conscious decision to become more active intellectually and to share our resources through free webinars, presentations and white papers with the sole intent of helping our supply chain see the fabrication process in terms relevant to them."
During the year, Sutariya acquired Atlanta-based BelAir Systems. "As a group, we can now offer a full line of PCB technologies to our customer base," Sutariya said.
"In 2011, we are breaking ground on a 10,000 sq. ft. addition to our facility,” Sutariya added.
