FRANKFURT -- German PWB manufacturers reported June revenues were down 67% year-over-year but rose 10% sequentially, a pair of leading trade groups said.

Orders were down 60% year-over-year, and 50% against the 10-year average levels, the German Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (ZVEI) and VdL reported.

A majority of reporting manufacturers say they are experiencing slight increases in incoming orders. However, the nation's book-to-bill ratio was 0.60, its lowest mark since the metric was introduced, the trade groups said. The ratio is considered a leading indicator for the market; a ratio of 0.60 means that for every 100 euros worth of PWBs shipped, 60 euros worth of orders were received.
