PFULLINGEN, GERMANY – What comes around, goes around, at least for Ruwel. Former owner Bernd Zevens has submitted an offer to take over the company's Pfullingen plant beginning September 1. Details of the offer have not been released.

The Kleve businessman purchased Ruwel in 1993 and remained active in the company until its sale 2006. Built in 1991 and integrated into Ruwel in 1994, the Pfullingen-based facility is one of five plants that comprise Ruwel Group.

Zevens, who is still under contract with the Pfullingen plant, plans to allow it to operate independently in the long run, maintaining its current product portfolio.

The plant manufactures samples, small- and medium-sized, double-sided PCBs, multilayers up to 20 layers and highly complex circuits in laser-microvia technology for mainly the industrial electronics and medical sectors.
