CHANDLER, AZ – Ventec Electronics has agreed to a consent order by the US International Trade Commission and will stop importing products covered by Isola Group patents.

In October, Isola filed a complaint against Ventec, alleging importation, sale for importation and sale after importation of certain prepregs, laminates and finished circuit boards covered by several of its patents.

Ventec has agreed not to import, sell for or sell after importation. The company has also agreed not to participate or encourage the importation of prepregs, laminates and finished circuit boards that fall under the claims.

“We are pleased that we have been able to achieve the desired outcome,” said Ray Sharpe, CEO of Isola. “We believe this settlement is in the best interest of all parties, including the PCB industry.”
