China, Kushan – Career Technology, manufacturer of flexible printed circuit boards (FPCBs), expects its Kunshan, China plant to ramp up to full capacity in the third quarter, according to chairman Tsai Chang Ying.

According to reports, the company has moved its rigid-flex PCB and double-size FPC roll-to-roll production lines to their new headquarters and R&D center to Shulin, in the northern Taiwan.

Tsai also said that the company is attempting increase sales from rigid-flex PCBs, which currently accounts for only 5% of company sales.  The company hopes to increase this sales proportion to 10% in 2008, the chairman said.
