Sumitomo Raises Laminate Prices

TOKYO – Sumitomo Bakelite, a major PWB material supplier, has reportedly increased prices for epoxy-based copper-clad laminates used in printed circuit boards.
 
In his EPTE Newsletter this week, Dominique Numukura reported Sumitomo has raised prices 10 to 15%.
 
Sumitomo is Japan's third largest chemical manufacturer, behind Mitsubishi and Asahi Kasei.
