TAOYUAN, TAIWAN -- Compeq Manufacturing has approved the acquisition of a manufacturing site in Taoyuan's Guanyin Industrial Park for approximately $64.5 million as it expands production capacity for advanced printed circuit boards.
The new site will support growing demand for high-density interconnect (HDI) PCBs used in next-generation optical networking, AI infrastructure, cloud computing and high-performance data center applications.
Located in one of Taiwan's established electronics manufacturing hubs, the Guanyin Industrial Park provides access to key suppliers, customers and logistics infrastructure, supporting Compeq's long-term capacity expansion strategy.
The investment reflects increasing demand for advanced PCB technologies capable of supporting higher data transmission speeds, improved signal integrity and greater routing density. Compeq said the additional manufacturing space will strengthen its ability to serve customers developing next-generation optical communication products.
