INDIA – The Andhra Pradesh government has cleared an ₹856-crore incentive package to support the development of India’s largest printed circuit board (PCB) facility, to be established by Syrma SGS in partnership with Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics.
The project, valued at ₹1,595 crore, will be located in the Naidupeta industrial area near Chennai. It will span single-layer and multi-layer PCB manufacturing, HDI/flex PCB production, copper clad laminate (CCL) manufacturing and electronics manufacturing services. The state government will provide 12.56 acres of land at a subsidized rate to facilitate the initiative.
Scheduled for commissioning by October 2026, the facility is expected to contribute significantly to Syrma SGS’s revenues in FY2027 and strengthen India’s electronics ecosystem. The PCBs produced will cater to sectors including automotive, electric mobility, healthcare and smart metering.
Officials emphasized that the investment aligns with the government’s broader efforts to boost domestic electronics manufacturing and position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for advanced technology industries.
