NORTH YORK, CANADA – The Canadian government, through FedDev Ontario, is providing a repayable contribution of nearly $850,000 for PCB manufacturer Candor Industries to expand operations and create 15 highly skilled jobs, according to reports.

The company expects to use the funds to take on green laser-cutting/drilling, induction lamination, bonding and direct imaging, adopting new equipment and technologies.

Candor will produce products for telecommunications and 5G markets, reducing scrap waste, while using environmentally friendly chemicals and increasing energy efficiency in its lamination process by 80%, say reports.

FedDev Ontario’s investment will also leverage an additional $1.9 million in private sector funding and boost local supply chain spending.
