SHENZHEN – Shennan Circuit posted 2020 net profit of 1.43 billion yuan (US$219.8 million), up 16% year-over-year. Operating income was 11.6 billion yuan, up 10.2% compared to 2019.

The company said it is seizing market opportunities in communications equipment, data centers, storage, and medical equipment during the pandemic.

During the year, Shennan Circuit’s PCB business achieved operating income of 8.3 billion yuan, a year-over-year increase of 7.6%, accounting for 71.6% of the company's total operating income.

The electronics assembly business accelerated the development of medical, automotive and other markets during 2020 and achieved operating income of 1.16 billion yuan, down 4.2%, accounting for 10% of the company's total operating income. Medical industrial control and automotive market orders increased 33% and 28%, respectively.

Data center orders exceeded 1 billion yuan. Automotive electronics orders increased 84% year-over-year. The packaging substrate business achieved operating revenue of 1.5 billion yuan, a year-over-year increase of 32.7%, accounting for 13.3% of the company's total operating income.
