WASHINGTON – The Semiconductor Industry Association released the following statement from president and CEO John Neuffer in response to new export control rule changes:

“We are concerned this rule may create uncertainty and disruption for the global semiconductor supply chain, but it seems to be less damaging to the US semiconductor industry than the very broad approaches previously considered.”

SIA represents 95% of the US semiconductor industry.
