HSIN CHU, TAIWAN – Iteq posted net profit up 38.8% in 2019 to a record high NT$2.5 billion (US$81.2 million) on revenue of NT$23.8 billion.
The firm expects 2020 revenue to increase with more shipments of high-frequency and high-speed materials for 5G base stations and servers. The firm expects revenue growth of 50% in 2020.
Demand for servers in China, the US and Europe for stay-at-home activities is strong amid the coronavirus pandemic. Iteq expects to increase shipments of super-ultra-low loss CCLs for router, switch and optical module applications for 5G networks in China.
The firm's new factory in Jiangxi is expected to start commercial production in the second quarter, with a monthly capacity of 300,000 units. A second-phase capacity will begin in late 2020 or early 2021.
