ANAHEIM, CA -- Summit Interconnect has acquired fellow PCB fabricator Streamline Circuits for an undisclosed sum.
The addition of Streamline increases the Summit Group to three California-based operations.
“The Streamline operation significantly enhances Summit’s PCB capabilities when time and technology are critical and provides Summit with the strategic advantage of having a Silicon Valley location,” said Shane Whiteside, president and CEO, Summit.
The combination brings together key industry veterans to support rapidly expanding demand in North America’s defense and commercial markets, the firms said in a press release.
“I am very proud of the business model we created at Streamline to serve the industry’s need for a supplier that is responsive to market demands,” said Chuck Dimick, CEO, Streamline Circuits. “The opportunity to join Summit makes perfect sense. We both see a need to provide a well-funded and highly capable PCB manufacturing solution to our customers.”
Summit was founded in 2016 as the parent holding company following the acquisition of KCA Electronics and Marcel Electronics International (MEI). Summit is financed by HCI Equity Partners, a private equity group.
