STAFFORD SPRINGS, CT -- TTM Technologies celebrated the grand opening of its RF (Radio Frequency) Center of Excellence here, where it specializes in RF-related PCB products.
The PCB manufacturer held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with government officials, TTM leaders, employees and guests. The site aims to better support customers from the many end-markets TTM serves, especially Aerospace & Defense.
Representatives for US Senators Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal and US Congressman Joe Courtney, Connecticut State Senator Tony Guglielmo, Connecticut State Representative Kurt Vail and First Selectman Anthony Frassinelli joined TTM chairman Rob Klatell, chief executive Tom Edman, and president of TTM’s Aerospace & Defense/Specialty Business Unit Phil Titterton, for the ceremony.
“TTM Technologies RF Center of Excellence represents a commitment and investment to our customers and the Aerospace & Defense industry,” said Phil Titterton. “The RF Center of Excellence grows our footprint in Stafford Springs, CT, allowing us to stay abreast of technology developments as we pursue new and exciting programs with our strategic partners.”
TTM acquired the plant from Tyco Printed Circuit Group in 2006.
