NORTHFIELD, MN -- Flex circuit manufacturer All Flex has added a flexible heater design course to its online flexible circuit design course.
The self-paced course provides technical information to support the engineering community and teach about polyimide and silicone rubber flexible heaters.
The heater chapter is an addition to the existing flexible circuit design course sponsored by All Flex and authored by John Michael Pierobon, an electronics industry expert and writer who has also taught numerous technical courses throughout the world.
The free course covers basic design requirements based on thermal needs, calculation examples, mounting methods, and concludes with review questions.
All Flex senior applications engineer and resident heater expert Jamin Taylor encourages people to take advantage of the course: “It is a valuable tool for engineers to increase their knowledge about flexible heater materials, constructions and layout conventions. The format is straightforward, so it’s beneficial for the novice, but experienced designers will find it helpful as well. It also caters to those who may just need a refresher course."
All Flex is manufactures and assembles flexible circuits and flexible heaters.
