WILSONVILLE, OR – Mentor Graphics today reported fiscal third-quarter revenues of $275.6 million, up 2.6% year-over-year.
For the quarter ended Oct. 31, profits were down 17% to $25.5 million compared to the same period of 2012.
The system and software unit posted a 2.7% increase in revenue, while sales from service and support went up 2.3%.
Integrated System Design, which includes printed circuit board design software, saw revenues fall 5% on fewer system company renewals.
“Bookings were up 30% for the quarter and 60% year to date,” said Gregory K. Hinckley, president. “The third quarter was our fourth consecutive quarter of a positive book-to-bill.”
For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014, the company expects revenues of about $400 million. For the full fiscal year 2014, the company is maintaining revenue expectations of approximately $1.155 billion.
