PITTSBURGH – Ansys posted second-quarter GAAP revenue of $195 million, up 20.1% year-over-year.
GAAP net income was $50.3 million, up 10.8% compared to the second quarter last year.
GAAP revenue for the first six months of 2012 was $380.4 million, an increase of 18.8% compared to the same period in 2011.
GAAP net income for the first six months was $95.8 million, up 9.2% year-over-year.
The company expects GAAP revenue in the range of $194 million to $202 million for the quarter ending September 30.
ANSYS expects total 2012 GAAP revenue in the range of $801 million to $824 million.
On Aug. 1, the company completed its acquisition of Esterel Technologies.
