ROCHESTER, NY – Cadence Design Systems has extended its channel partner contract with EMA Design Automation to include the full Allegro and OrCAD product lines.

Financial and other terms were not disclosed.

The agreement permits EMA to offer what it calls an "electronic design ecosystem."

“Our customers’ needs vary greatly, from simple schematic capture requirements to complex front to back PCB design needs,” said Manny Marcano, president and CEO of EMA. “With the scalability provided by the OrCAD and Allegro product lines, we can provide increasingly more capable solutions as our customers’ needs grow in complexity.”

“EMA has been a great channel partner,” said Charlie Giorgetti, vice president, worldwide PCB sales and service at Cadence. “Not only do they represent the Cadence PCB solutions well to our customers, but they can add other products and services that give our customers a complete solution customized to suit their PCB design challenges.”
