NORWOOD, MA – Analog Devices is offering National Instruments’ Multisim 11 Component Evaluator as a free download, tailored for evaluating ADI components.

The software abstracts away the complexities of SPICE simulation through intuitive analysis instruments and interactive circuit components, for a graphical approach. It combines a mixed-mode simulation parser and extensive collection of analyses. SPICE models, online example circuits, and datasheets are all connected through a single evaluation environment.

With the latest version, one has the ability to simulate up to 50 components, and the ability to import one custom component per schematic. There are cleaner schematics with on-page and global connectors, and there is a simulation parser with support for advanced SPICE parameters, including BSMI, EKV, VBIC.
