LONDON – Premier Farnell introduces DesignLink coupling interface. The web service environment provides an electronic interface to major CAD tools, allowing users to search and to locate parts directly from within the CAD design environment.
 
Developed in collaboration with EMA, DesignLink lets designers use manufacturers’ data directly in their schematic designs. Interfacing with Premier Farnell’s websites, users have access to over 4 million items from 3,500 leading manufacturers, with data and pricing in the local language and currency.
 
Users can see what parts fit their designs through a part or keyword search, as well as check the availability and delivery of parts.
