SAN JOSE, CA– The Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Consortium and the IEEE Council of EDA (CEDA) announced that Dr. Aart de Geus will receive the Phil Kaufman Award for Distinguished Contributions to EDA in October. Dr. de Geus, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Synopsys, has had a major impact on both the business and the technology of EDA.
