TROY, MI – Altair reported software product revenue was $99.6 million in the second quarter, an increase of 21.7% year-over-year. Total revenue was $119.9 million, up 21.7% compared to the same period in 2020.
The net loss was $13.6 million, up 33.5% year-over-year. Adjusted EBITDA was $9.5 million, an increase of 65.2%.

Free cash flow was $15.8 million, compared to $4.5 million for the second quarter of 2020, an increase of 252.7%.
For the third quarter, Altair forecasts revenue of $112 million to $115 million. For 2021, the company expects revenue of $512 million to $518 million.
