ATLANTA, GA – UP Media Group Inc. today announced more than one-fourth of attendees of PCB West Virtual 2020 came from outside the United States.
More than 60 countries were represented at the event, which took place the week of September 7. Registration for the on-demand technical conference and exhibition remains available through October 12 at pcbwest.com.
“Being able to reach engineers from around the world and connect them with great presenters like Rick Hartley, Eric Bogatin and Lee Ritchey is really a thrill,” said Mike Buetow, conference director, PCB West Virtual 2020. “It gives us some ideas on how to enhance our events going forward as well.”
The show offered something for all segments of the electronics manufacturing supply chain. About half the registrants are designers or design engineers, 25% are in fabrication or assembly engineering, and about 10% in research and development.
The technical conference features more than 125 hours of training and presentations. Registrants of the live or on-demand sessions receive certificates indicating the number of hours of training received at PCB West.
“Yet another great show!” said Susy Webb, Design Science. “I really enjoyed being able to watch the classes on-demand, and I've never taken so many notes! I could stop the speaker and write down every word if I wanted!”
“PCB West 2020 was a positive experience,” said first-time attendee Josko Marasovic. “Designing PCBs which will pass EMC the first time is something that motivates me in my job, and one can learn a lot from Rick Hartley, Dan Beeker, Eric Bogatin, Susy Webb and Lee Ritchey. Providing webinars on-demand is very appreciated because it is not possible to attend all those interesting topics going at the same time. If you don’t understand something, you can just play it again.”
PCB West annually provides a conference and exhibition focused on the design and manufacture of PCBs, HDI, electronics assembly and circuit board test.
