Samtec Releases Over 100k New Models on SnapEDA

NEW ALBANY, IN – Samtec released new digital models for over 100,000 of its components on SnapEDA, the PCB design library.

Designers can download and design with ready-to-use connector models. The new models include USB, card edge, board-to-board, headers, and RF coaxial connectors.

These models include assembly, silkscreen and 3-D features to support high-density applications. The footprints employ courtyards, built-in dimensioning, and applicable metadata.

The files are available for OrCad, Allegro, Eagle and PADS. Using SnapEDA’s translation technology, the files can also be downloaded for Altium, KiCad, PCB123, Proteus 8.8, and Pulsonix.
