SYDNEY -- Altium confirmed preliminary financial results for the year ended June 30, saying revenue rose 13% year-over-year to a record $80.2 million.
The net profit jumped 727% to $92.4 million. Pretax profit rose 26% from 2014, the printed circuit board software developer added.
Sales to customers were up 8% to 82.1 million. EBITDA was up 24% to 22.7 million, and EBITDA margin rose two percentage points to 28%.
Altium had $61.9 million in cash on hand at quarter's end.
In an announcement, the company said, "Altium achieved solid worldwide revenue and sales growth during fiscal 2015. This result was supported by an outstanding performance in the Americas to deliver record sales and revenue growth over the fiscal year. Our confidence for the Americas is strong, as the region has successfully implemented a leveraged sales strategy."
Altium also announced a strategic partnership with Computer Simulation Technology (CST) to provide electromagnetic simulation and analysis functionality that will assist Altium to close capability gaps and to expand its addressable market in PCB design.
