WILSONVILLE, OR – Mentor Graphics reported fiscal second quarter revenue of $281.1 million, up 8% year-over-year.

Revenue was an all-time second quarter record, said Walden C. Rhines, chairman and CEO.

Net income for the quarter ended July 31 was $30.6 million, up 122.3% compared to the same period last year.

Operating was $39.3 million, an increase of 132.2% compared to the fiscal second quarter of the prior year.

During the quarter, the company announced Veloce Power Application software and MicReD Industrial Power Tester.

For the first six months of fiscal 2016, Mentor posted revenue of $553.2 million, up 8% year-over-year.

Net income for the six-month period was $20.1 million, up 87.1%, and operating income was $31.6 million, up 70.3% year-over-year.

For the third quarter of fiscal 2016, the company expects revenue of about $290 million. For the full-year fiscal 2016, the company is raising revenue guidance to approximately $1.285 billion.
