CircuitSpace 5.0 improves the use and productivity for circuit board design placement, replication and design reuse in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer. Expedites PCB design requirements with a higher level of quality and reproducibility from the placement phase of the design cycle through design review and verification. Applies templates with similar package styles but having different names and pin locations in support of reference designs. Also, mirroring circuit clusters has been expanded to permit mirroring components on the same layer. This facilitates placing clusters around a central location keeping components relative to the center object(s), retaining the same relative component positions as other circuits.

Other enhancements include support of crossprobing with Adobe 11; support of keywords and along with advanced filtering; and narrower candidate template memberships to matching keywords in the template to the current design. Now supports corporate site configuration and supports Undo/Redo CircuitSpace commands.
