Stackup Planner for Altium Designer is a bidirectional interface that imports the substrate configuration from ICD Stackup Planner and automatically creates corresponding layers in Altium Designer, configuring the Layer Stackup Manager. Automatically creates Design rules for trace width, clearance and differential pairs in Altium Designer, enabling routing of each layer and differential pair to the calculated single ended or differential impedance. Exports layers from the Layer Stack Manager and Trace Width/Clearances into ICD Stackup Planner to calculate impedance and trace current. Modifies stackup to obtain desired impedances and imports back to Altium Designer.
