C&K Debuts PTS845, PTS850 SMT Switches

PTS845 and PTS850 compact tact SMT switches are reportedly ideal for portable electronics, including headsets, sports watches, health monitoring devices, Bluetooth accessories, black boxes, and navigation.

PTS845 is 4.5mm x 3.4mm x 3.3mm and is available in three standard actuation forces. Comes in 80gf, 160gf and 260gf versions. PTS850 is 5.4mm x 5mm x 1.8mm and is available in two standard actuation forces. Comes in 180gf and 350gf versions. Provide integration into reflow soldering standard processes. Bracket and peg design for PTS845 can be used without integration associated with peg for high solder strength. Boss design for PTS850 helps customers locate switch to PCB before soldering. PTS845 has up to 100K cycles; PTS850 has up to 50K cycles.
