Is protected with sheet metal casing and load cell protection. Has clamping device attached to actuator, extended scales, crash protection and new user interface. Software interface has icon-based controls, programmability, workflow automation and one-button testing. Performs hardness testing according to current Rockwell standards, as well as plastics and carbon testing scales, and Brinell depth testing scales, all within load range from 1 to 187.5kgf. Interface aligns with DiaMet hardness testing software. Auto-stop clamping device holds down sample and secures during testing. Adjustable LED workspace illumination highlights test location. Indenter extensions are optionally available in several sizes. Operator panel can be adjusted on frame or taken off. Has USB connection and external footswitch.
