Silicon Valley:  Zero Defects International [ZDI] has announced the renewed and improved availability of several test-related services for  printed circuit board assemblies [PCBAs]. These are in addition to their existing PCBA  flying-probe test services. The initial new service is that of test program generation for users of  flying-probe testers. Companies which own one of several platforms can now out-source test programming to ZDI.

Mention an electronic circuit and you are likely to picture a printed circuit board (PCB): a rigid rectangle in a characteristic green color with copper lines and a bewildering array of components soldered onto it.
