WILSONVILLE, OR – Mentor Graphics has announced the winners of its 21st Annual PCB Technical Leadership Awards.

MUNICH, GERMANY– Zuken and Gigatronik have entered a partnership to improve complex vehicle design capabilities for both companies.

Under the agreement, the EDA software companies will begin to integrate Zuken’s E cable tools with Gigatronik’s ESCAPE software. The integration would permit data reuse and end-to-end engineering in a single tool, the firms said.

“Our partnership with Gigatronik will enable solutions that will provide integration for a complete end-to-end engineering process. In addition we are able to provide further support for wire harness production and after sales,” said Ulrich Prottung, E³.series product manager from Zuken.

Baden-Württemberg, Germany-based Gigatronik develops tools for automobile electronics, car IT and information technology. Zuken is the world’s third-largest PCB software vendor.

AUSTIN, TX – National Instruments has boosted the lower end of its third-quarter earnings guidance and reiterated its revenue outlook due to sustained R&D investments.
