SAN JOSE -- Cadence today honored the contributions its employees have made to the company and the electronics industry in a ceremony in San Jose.
Cadence workers have been granted more than 800 US patents and an additional 150 international patents.
"Innovation Day is a way of expressing gratitude to the innovators at Cadence for the assistance they have provided in moving the global electronics industry forward," said Cadence chief technology officer Charlie Huang. "And beyond Cadence, it's our way of tipping our hat to all the electronics industry innovators whose efforts pay global dividends."
This marks the fourth year that Cadence has recognized its leading engineers and scientists with the Excellence in Innovation Award. Cadence Innovation Day will include an afternoon event where this year's award recipients will be recognized for their contributions by the entire company. In the evening, they will be feted at a special reception with the Mayor of San Jose.
