SANTA ANA, CA– TTM Technologies, Inc. has been awarded a second contract from BAE Systems. The $7 million contract is an add-on to the initial one received in April.
 
TTM will produce printed circuit boards (PCBs) and printed circuit board assemblies used in thermal weapon sights. The sights, employed in light, medium and heavy weapon applications, provide improved visibility and increased surveillance and target acquisition range.
 
The first full-rate production and deliveries are scheduled to begin in January 2009 and continue through July. The cumulative amount of the contract has been reported in excess of $15 million.

MUMBAI, INDIA– Altium has plans to open sales and marketing offices in Mumbai, Bangalore or New Delhi. It hopes to have the offices running by January 2009 and has begun looking for Indian investment partners.
 
Altium wants to increase its presence in both China and India within the next two to three years. With three offices in China already, the company expects similar growth in India because of the high demand for electronic innovative design products and embedded software. It is also looking toward the possibility of supplying the Indian nuclear industry, but plans are still in the early development stages.

HUNT VALLEY, MD– Dr. Jennie Hwang will serve on the board of advisors for Reactive NanoTechnologies, Inc. In her role, she will advise the company on technical and business matters pertaining to the electronics assembly industry.
 
Prior to joining the board, she held senior executive positions with Lockheed Martin Corporation, Sherwin Williams Company and SCM Corporation. She also co-founded several entrepreneurial companies and served as an advisor and consultant to U.S. government programs.
 
Dr. Hwang is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and has been inducted into the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame. Author of numerous books, she also holds several patents.
