VIENNA, AUSTRIA – Harald Sommerer will step down as AT&S chairman on June 30, 2010, citing the need for new challenges as the reason.

Sommerer joined AT&S in 1997, serving as CFO and a member of the management board. He has been chairman since 2005.

Over the past two years, AT&S has struggled as the European PWB industry migrated offshore. The company remains the largest PWB fabricator in Europe.

FRANKFURT -- German PWB manufacturers reported June revenues were down 67% year-over-year but rose 10% sequentially, a pair of leading trade groups said.
