MILPITAS, CA — Electronic System Design (ESD) industry revenue increased 8.9% from $3.46 billion in Q3 2021 to $3.76 billion in Q3 2022, the ESD Alliance, a SEMI Technology Community, announced in its latest Electronic Design Market Data (EDMD) report. The four-quarter moving average rose 13.4%.

STAMFORD, CT — Worldwide semiconductor revenue increased 1.1% in 2022 to total $601.7 billion, up from $595 billion in 2021, according to preliminary results by Gartner, Inc. The combined revenue of the top 25 semiconductor vendors increased 2.8% in 2022 and accounted for 77.5% of the market.

NEEDHAM, MA — Global PC shipments fell below expectations in the fourth quarter as 67.2 million PCs were shipped, down 28.1% from the prior year, according to preliminary results from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker.
