NEEDHAM, MA – Despite ongoing concerns around semiconductor shortages, the PC market continues to be one of the many consumer technology markets that is thriving, says International Data Corp. Shipments of PCs are expected to grow 18.1% in 2021, with shipments of more than 357 million units. While IDC still expects PC growth to drop 2.9% in 2022, the overall five-year compound annual growth rate remains positive at 3%.
