SAN JOSE — The 90-day moving average bookings at North America-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers in April jumped 22.5% over last year and 10.8% over the revised March 2014 levels. Orders reached $1.44 billion for the period, said SEMI.

FRANKFURT -- Printed circuit board sales at German fabricators were up 4% sequentially and 5.2% year-over-year in March, the Central Association of the PCB and Electronic Systems said. First quarter orders were up 17% from a year ago, the trade group added.
