TOKYO -- Japan printed circuit board fabricators reported October sales fell 7.4% year-over-year to ¥38.3 billion ($1.27 billion), the Japan Electronics Packaging Circuits Association (JPCA) reported.

It was the tenth straight month sales were down, the trade group added.

Overall production declined for the 11th straight month, falling 15% from a year ago.

Flex circuit production fell 17.6%, and revenue in the segment was down as well for the 15th straight month.

Year to date sales are down 6.6% to ¥370.89 billion ($3.39 billion) through October. Flex circuit sales are down 25% to ¥31.23 billion ($285 million), JPCA said.
