MIDLAND, MI – The Dow Chemical Company reported fourth-quarter sales of $14.1 billion, up 2% year-over-year.

The firm posted a net loss of $20 million for the quarter, compared to net income of $426 million in the same quarter of 2010.

Sales in Electronic and Functional Materials were $1.1 billion, flat versus the year-ago period, as a 3% decline in volume was offset by a 3% increase in price.

For full-year 2011, sales were $60 billion, up 12% versus 2010, and a record for the company.

2011 net income was $2.4 billion, up 22% year-over-year.

ROMULUS, MI -- Saturn Electronics reported 2011 was its most successful year in company history, as sales rose more than 18% from 2010.

The printed circuit board fabricator said 2011 revenue was up 18.4% to $35 million. Bookings rose 5% over 2010, the PCB maker added.

“Once again, we posted record sales for the second year in a row, in spite of an overall industry decline,” wrote Yash Sutariya, vice president, in the company’s annual newsletter. According to IPC, the North American PCB market dipped about 2% in 2011.

During the year, the company expanded its Romulus facility to 110,000 sq. ft.

CHANDLER, AZIsola Group reported revenues for the most recent quarter ended Oct. 1 of $143 million, down 9.4%.
