TORONTO – Firan Technology Group reported third-quarter sales of $13.3 million, down 5.3% year-over-year. The printed circuit board manufacturer posted a net loss of $551,000 for the period, compared to net income of $155,000 in the same quarter last year.
TOKYO – Kyocera has completed the acquisition of all shares in NEC Toppan Circuit Solutions. The new company has become a wholly-owned subsidiary named Kyocera Circuit Solutions.
Yohsuke Nishiyama is the subsidiary’s new president.
No financial terms of the acquisition were disclosed.
The company develops, designs, and manufactures high-density multilayer printed circuit boards for industrial applications, buildup PCBs for consumer electronics, and module PCBs.
