ANAHEIM, CA -- Viasystems Group today announced the opening of a North American PCB Technology and Manufacturing Center here, a facility that replaces and upgrades the company's multi-building leased location. The printed circuit board manufacturer has its production plants in China, but uses the US as a base for quickturn programs and flex circuits. It has board shops sites in nine cities across North America.

Sales for the unit reached $1.4 billion for the period, as increases in the Asia Pacific, Latin America/Canada and EMEA regions offset a decline in the US.
