ROMULUS, MI -- Saturn Electronics reported 2011 was its most successful year in company history, as sales rose more than 18% from 2010.
The printed circuit board fabricator said 2011 revenue was up 18.4% to $35 million. Bookings rose 5% over 2010, the PCB maker added.
“Once again, we posted record sales for the second year in a row, in spite of an overall industry decline,” wrote Yash Sutariya, vice president, in the company’s annual newsletter. According to IPC, the North American PCB market dipped about 2% in 2011.
During the year, the company expanded its Romulus facility to 110,000 sq. ft.
