TAIPEI -- Printed circuit board manufacturer Unimicron Technology reportedly will raise prices some 10 to 20% to reflect rising raw material costs, according to published reports.
However, the company said supplies of bismaleimide-triazine (BT) resin remain uninterrupted and no have had no affect on substrate production, DigiTimes said, quoting CFO Tsai-Sheng Shen. Certain BT resin suppliers were hit hard by the March 11 earthquake in Japan. Most have indicated full production will resume in June.
Unimicron expects flat or modest revenue growth in the current quarter on lower demand for HDI boards from cellphone OEMs, DigiTimes reported.
