TORONTO --
PCB fabricator Lazer-Tech Canada has acquired the accounts of a suburban Toronto printed circuit board fabricator whose owner is retiring.
Effective immediately, Lazer-Tech will take over the customers of Scarborough-based RWD Manufacturing. RWD's Ronald Downer is retiring and closing the firm. No financial terms were disclosed.
"After so many good years in this business, I feel it is time for me to move on," Downer said in a letter to customers. " I think that there is no company better than Lazer-Tech with whom to entrust my customers."
Former RWD employee Anna Paulin has been added to Lazer-Tech's inside sales team to help RWD customers in the transition, owner and president Jamie Armitage said.
