Orbotech Sees Bright Q4, 2011

YAVNE, ISRAEL -- Orbotech reported preliminary financial results for its fiscal 2010, saying that revenues rose 40% to $525 million to $530 million.

The maker of inspection equipment for the printed circuit board, semiconductor and flat-panel display industries also guided for fiscal 2011 sales of $560 million.

Based on its 2010 revenue estimates, Orbotech had sales of $105 million to $110 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31. The company had sales of $373.9 million in 2009. Forecast gross margin for 2010 is approximately 41%, up two points, and the GAAP net margin is approximately 6%.

Orbotech forecast a GAAP net margin of 10% for 2011.
