CHANUTE, KS -- Silicon Valley based PCB fabricator Sierra Proto Systems has ceased production at its mid-volume plant here and is transitioning the site into a sales office.

Sierra Proto Systems acquired Sierra Midwest, the former PC Boards, from Dennis Steinman in 2007, as part of growth run that took the firm to a reported $40 million in annual sales. Since that time, the site served as the company's production facility.

According to the company, the firm recently relocated its production to its Sunnyvale plant and the Chanute location will serve as a sales office.
