TAIWAN– Several leading Taiwanese flex circuit manufacturers are seeing stronger demand while others are steadily falling.
 
According to DigiTimes, substantial losses in sales have let Global Flex Holdings to plan to downsize its flex circuit business. Also, Wus Printed Circuit and Yang An Electronics are shutting the doors to their flex factories.
 
Meanwhile, Career Technology is reportedly picking up Global Flex’s orders, and expects a 15-20% increase in sales for the third quarter, DigiTimes wrote.
 
Flexium Interconnect’s sales in August and September are predicted to set monthly records on PC-related and smartphone demand. Taiflex Scientific expects third quarter sales to grow 40-55% in August on higher handset and notebook orders, the media site said.
